Armed with my new curvy figure, I was determined to emulate the celebrities featured in those magazine spreads who clad their new bumps with chic and trendy fashions. Now I craved something new…So, I made the big trip to the city in search of the ultimate in maternity must-haves and came back disappointed and frustrated. Where were all the haute items I had seen on Katie Holmes and Angelina Jolie? The very limited maternity stores (and I do mean limited) were full of drab, generic pieces and zero must-have essentials. I may have lost my waistline, but I had not lost my sense of style! What was a girl to do?

The answer was found in a small home-based business named for my craving of sassy, sophisticated and sexy maternity items. “Spoil Me Rotten” offered those haute fashions and trendy maternity essentials found on the spreads of celebrity mags ­ all without the “celebrity” price tag. The response was overwhelming and the store quickly outgrew itself. So I packed up the small-renovated garage, built a brand new commercial space from ground up, polished my business vision and opened the doors once more.

Spoil Me Rotten Maternity is designed for moms by a mom. It’s a place where moms and moms-to-be can shop and feel truly spoiled. It’s a place where daddies-to-be are welcomed and invited to become involved (or, at the very least, kick back in the daddy’s lounge).
